Ms. Renten obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Southwestern University School of Law and was admitted to the California Bar in 2000. Ms. Renten graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in International Relations and Public Relations.
While attending law school, Ms. Renten served externships with the U.S. District Court Central District of California and the U.S. Attorney’s office. Prior to dedicating herself to her current practice, Ms. Renten worked in the entertainment industry where she represented artists and management. She developed excellent contract drafting, negotiation and communication skills as a result of this experience.
In 2001, Ms. Renten began representing employers and insurance carriers in cases involving work related diseases, professional sports and entertainment claims, injuries, chronic pain, fraud, discrimination and subrogation. Ms. Renten values the importance of communication in working with her clients to ensure beneficial resolution with a priority in providing her clients with creative and aggressive legal strategies in order to obtain favorable results.
She is a Member of the California Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney’s Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section. In her spare time, Ms. Renten is an avid traveler who enjoys yoga, hiking and attending sporting events.
