Oral Argument by Tim Peterson – CA Courts of Appeals

Tim Peterson recently had the unique opportunity to represent our client before the Fourth Appellate District of the California Court of Appeals on the case of Wayne Gandy v. Atlanta Falcons. A petition for writ of review was filed and granted, allowing the Atlanta Falcons to argue that the Atlanta Falcons are exempt from California’s workers’ compensation law pursuant to CA Labor Code § 3600.5(c)(d). The matter was submitted after oral argument and a decision should issue within 90 days.
