Mr. Beltran attended Long Beach State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, with an emphasis in law enforcement. He then attended Loyola Law School, graduating with the degree of Juris Doctor, being admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. While at Loyola Law School, Mr. Beltran was initially a staff writer, and then selected Technical Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Journal, now known as the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.

Prior to joining Bober, Peterson, and Koby LLP, Mr. Beltran was a co-managing partner at a national workers’ compensation defense firm, and thereafter a partner at a smaller firm.

Mr. Beltran’s practice includes all aspects of claims within workers’ compensation from inception to trial and appeal, including the defense of serious and willful claims, and claims brought pursuant to Labor Code 132a. Mr. Beltran also has experience litigating claims involving professional employer organizations (PEOs), with an understanding of the complexities those claims involve. Additionally, Mr. Beltran has extensive experience in the litigation of claims involving former professional athletes.

Brian takes pride in providing his clients with a zealous and cost-efficient defense of claims, all with the goal of expeditious closure.
