Mr. Chapman has an extensive background in business operations and problem solving. He applies these hands-on practical skills to his business law practice. Mr. Chapman zealously represents his clients by combining their legal rights with practical thinking to achieve the best results for his clients.

Mr. Chapman received a BBA from Southwest Texas State University and his law degree from Oklahoma City University, School of Law in 1981. Mr. Chapman has been licensed in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as California, and is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts. In addition, he is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

Mr. Chapman’s practice is focused on the myriad of issues a business faces on a day-to-day basis. He has represented a countless number of individuals and small to mid-size business clients, in a number of different industries and matters. He is experienced in commercial litigation matters, having handled numerous trials and arbitrations to successful outcomes for his clients through his many years of experience. He is also well versed in transactional matters, including contracts, buy-outs, mergers, business sales and liquidations, buy-sale agreements, succession plans, employment matters, partnerships, corporate work, LLC’s, cannabis regulatory, licensing & specialized contractual issues, and both commercial and real estate matters. In focusing on his clients’ individual and specific needs, he advises and prepares estate plans to minimize the costs and delays to pass on their hard-earned estates upon death.

Mr. Chapman has been a long-term resident of Orange County. He has been active in a variety of children’s sports organizations and enjoyed coaching his children’s sports teams and leading their YMCA groups. Mr. Chapman is a founding member and on the Board of Directors of Awareness Cambodia, a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering young orphans in Cambodia, by providing education and teaching life skills so they can become the future leaders of Cambodia. He has made several trips to Cambodia to develop and lead hands-on programs. In his free time, Mr. Chapman enjoys traveling to new places, cycling, snow skiing, hiking, scuba diving, and being able to spend time with friends in the great outdoors.
