Rick D. Erickson

Mr. Erickson is a certified specialist in workers’ compensation law from the State Bar of California. Mr. Erickson was admitted to the bar in 2003 after graduating from Western State University School of Law. He began his legal career at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office then spent time in Civil Litigation.

He eventually found a home in practicing Workers’ Compensation exclusively as a Defense Attorney. Mr. Erickson has represented uninsured employers, self-insured employers, municipalities, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in a variety of cases.

Mr. Erickson has extensive experience defending cases involving security officers, homeowners, liquidated carriers and professional athletes. Rick has taken numerous cases to trial, with favorable decisions at the trial level, the Appeals Board level, and the Court of Appeal.

Rick is happily married, lives in Orange County and is the proud father of a son and daughter.
