Madeline Dopeso is an Associate Attorney at Bober, Peterson & Koby, LLP, based in the firm’s Irvine office. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense, representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout all stages of litigation.

Ms. Dopeso earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2023 after graduating cum laude from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Political Science. During law school, she was a member of the Orange County Women’s Lawyers Association and gained practical litigation experience through internships and advocacy programs, including Chapman’s Juvenile Mediation Clinic, where she worked with incarcerated youth to promote conflict resolution and rehabilitation and mediated guardianship disputes for families unable to afford legal representation.

Prior to joining BPK, Ms. Dopeso represented injured parties in personal injury, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and employment matters before transitioning her practice to workers’ compensation defense. Her experience on both sides of litigation provides valuable perspective when evaluating claims, anticipating opposing strategies, and identifying practical paths toward resolution. She brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to every matter, helping her clients navigate complex claims with confidence while working toward cost-effective, favorable outcomes.

A lifelong Orange County resident, Ms. Dopeso devoted much of her childhood to competitive gymnastics and later competed in cheerleading throughout high school. The discipline, resilience, and teamwork she developed through years of both sports continue to shape her approach to the practice of law today. Outside of the office, Ms. Dopeso enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, attending Pilates and spin classes, discovering new restaurants, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with family and friends.
